The Regulation (REG) and Tax Compliance and Planning (TCP) sections of the CPA Exam are changing July 1 with the introduction of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA). Candidates who plan to take REG before July 1, 2026 can prepare under the current exam blueprint, without needing to learn new tax law content. Those who wait will need to study additional OBBBA-related material.

Join REG and TCP experts Greg Carnes, PhD, CPA, and Suzanne Youngberg, MST, CPA (inactive) for this crash course designed to help you build a strategic plan to pass REG under the current exam blueprint, before the changes take effect.

During this free, 2-hour session, you’ll learn how to:

  • Understand the Timing — Learn when the new tax laws in OBBBA will be testable in the REG and TCP sections of the CPA Exam.
  • Focus on High-Yield REG Topics — Identify the most heavily tested areas in REG so you can pass before the changes take effect.
  • Study through Busy Season without Burnout — Get tips on how to prepare with a demanding tax season schedule.
  • Approach REG Task-Based Simulations with Confidence — Learn common task-based simulation (TBS) formats and effective techniques, including how to use UWorld’s TBS resources.
  • Fit TCP into Your Exam Plan — Understand how TCP relates to REG and plan your exam sequence strategically.
  • Pass REG with UWorld — See how UWorld’s targeted content, practice questions, and expert-led video lessons support a faster path to passing.

This webinar is open and free to all with no obligation to purchase. Registrants will receive a recording following the event, and those who attend live will have the opportunity to participate in a live Q&A with the experts.
