In this 30-minute session, we’ll clarify what true AP rigor looks like in practice by examining cognitive alignment, instructional feedback, and transfer readiness—and how these elements work together to support meaningful learning. Philip Bates spent 18 years in public education at the Elementary, Junior High, and High School levels. He helped launch UWorld’s College Readiness department and manages a talented team of former educators and content writers. Together, they build high-quality content for AP® courses, SAT®, and ACT® preparation. His passion is developing online products that support classroom instruction and encourage student learning and success.
