Philip Bates spent 18 years in public education as a teacher and as a principal at the Elementary, Junior High, and High School levels.
Over four years ago, Philip helped launch UWorld’s College Readiness department and now manages a talented team of former educators and content writers. Together they build high-quality content for AP® courses, SAT, ACT®, and PSAT® preparation. His passion is developing online products that support classroom instruction and encourage student learning and success.



 
Laura Maddaford

Meet Your Presenter

Laura Maddaford is a former educator who worked in both secondary and post-secondary education teaching AP English Literature, AP Research, and dual credit courses for over a decade. She has also been a Reader for AP Literature for the past 7 years. Laura continues to coach teachers in her role as an Implementation Strategist for UWorld.
